At the end of November 2014 Katzenjammer covered a few songs at the Norwegian radio station P4.
Turid and Sol made a new video with a cover of the song Am I wrong (original by Nico & Vinz)

If you can't watch the YT video, check it out on Facebook too.

Marianne and Anne Marit covered "Shake it off" by Taylor swift. There is only some audio available at the moment. Hopefully there will be a recording of the song. It sounds great!

Of course Katzenjammer did plenty of covers. Best known is "Land of Confusion" of course! You can find a live version from 2009 here

Maybe nice to make an overview with those!

A playlist with Christmas Carol covers you can find here, including the songs "Vi tenner våre lykter", "Den lengste natten", Let it Snow, When you wish upon a star and White Christmas.

And some rare songs/videos you can find in this old topic

I really like the latest cover versions. From what I've heard of Taylor Swift, I'd concluded that her music was too bland & of no interest. But this is a good song & Marianne and Anne Marit really give it emotional depth.

Sol & Turid's cover version is a delight, too and they don't even need to be in the same room to give us entertaining duets like this.

I wish they'd done more of this in the past couple of years. I've missed them terribly & it's great to have them back performing.

Just noticed that there isn't much added in this thread.

In January Katzenjammer also did "Shake It Off" on Dutch radio:

For St. Patricks day Solveig also made a video with "Rocky Road To Dublin" cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Au5IY2CT1k4
Really a great video!

Katzenjammer played it live in Dublin in 2011: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I48rANCm_Ro

On the first "Images Under Construction" EP by Dandylion you'll find a cover of Neil Young's "Don't let it bring you down". This clip is from the release concert in Oslo in 2012:

I've never been a Neil Young fan, but the way Marianne has arranged it, sings it and completely owns it is just amazing.
And while we are at mind blowing Dandylion covers: Those who were lucky enough to experience the lady at her solo tour in 2013 will surely remember this bit that would make Robert Plant proud, would have made Freddie Mercury turn straight and gives The Police a run for their money:

Oh, and of course there is this gorgeous cover. If you ever thought that music for kids is lame, this will make you change your mind. The dandylionised version is just gorgeous.

London Calling at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London November 17th. Really like the Katzenjammer version of this song. Hope it won't be the last time that I've heard it.
