Four weeks tonight :) Hopefully a night as good as the May gig when I first got to meet so many of you. Who is coming to this one?

Yup, we will be there again! Do you have any suggestions for a place close by to meet/eat Keith?

If I can make any of the UK Tour this time around, THIS will be *the* show I would intend to make.

But I've travelled too much this year already and cannot justify it in all honesty, and I am saving my pennies for the Dandylion tour in February!!!  Come what may....!!!  Also have a few extra commitments that may prevent as much traveling!  So need to become more selective! ;)

I could check out a few options but Jenny may have some ideas and I suspect that Florian has been checking out the restaurant reviews on this site: http://www.list.co.uk/ He was particularly keen to find somewhere that served haggis!

There are plenty of options in that area (especially Byers Road and Ashton Lane) so we'll work something out.

The venue itself features a bar, see http://oran-mor.co.uk/dining/john-muir-room/.
(BTW I've checked every restaurant I could find around the venue and all of them offer haggis  8) )

I'm more Edinburgh based so I don't really have any suggestions! I'd personally prefer a place that has some vegan options, but I realise that can be difficult and so I'm pretty much up for going anywhere you guys agree on, so long as it's near the venue.

Also, are we planning to go out after?

Seems that all vegan restaurants are in the city center far from the venue. I could only find a vegatarian teahouse near the venue. You can find some vegatarian dishes in the bars around the venue but if you don't eat cheese, you'll have a problem.

Aye and those obviously wouldn't have haggis anyway, hence I meant vegan options rather than restaurant. But it's no biggie really, just find something nice nearby and let's meet there. :)

So my suggestion is and will be the venue itself. Best way to check what has to be done to get into first row.  ;)

Jenny. I hope that there's something on the menu at the venue's restaurant that suits you OK. I can make a reservation nearer the time when final numbers are confirmed.

Afterwards, we can go back upstairs to the bar, which is open until 3am!

The venue is in the basement (which means going out the main door and round the corner) and if we get there for doors opening at 7pm, that should be OK. We head for the front whilst any others go to the bar.

Indeed. The Brasserie looks far too posh for the likes of me. :)
